Forest Arrow – Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy (India)

This Anti-Money Laundering Policy (“AML Policy”) explains how Forest Arrow (“Forest Arrow”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) prevents its platform and services from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other illegal financial activity.

This AML Policy applies to all users who access or use the Forest Arrow website and related services in India (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AML Policy.

Important: This page is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.

1. Purpose and AML Commitment

Forest Arrow is committed to:

  • Complying with applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) laws and regulations in force in India.

  • Implementing a risk-based approach to detect, prevent, and report suspicious activities.

  • Protecting our users, partners, and the integrity of our platform from misuse for unlawful purposes.

We do not enter into or maintain relationships with users or partners where we believe there is a risk of money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or other criminal conduct.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of this AML Policy:

  • Money Laundering is the process of disguising the origin of funds obtained from illegal activities so that they appear to come from legitimate sources.

  • Terrorist Financing refers to the collection, movement or use of funds for terrorist purposes, whether or not the funds originate from legitimate or illegitimate sources.

  • Suspicious Activity means any transaction or behavior that appears inconsistent with a user’s profile, has no clear economic or lawful purpose, or might involve criminal proceeds.

3. Risk-Based Approach

Forest Arrow applies a risk-based approach to AML/CTF compliance by:

  • Assessing risks related to user location, payment methods, transaction size and frequency, and behavior on the platform.

  • Applying enhanced due diligence (EDD) in higher-risk situations, such as large or unusual transactions, or where a user is identified as a politically exposed person (PEP).

  • Periodically reviewing and updating our risk assessment and AML controls.

4. User Identification and KYC

To help prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, Forest Arrow may implement Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures before allowing access to certain Services or features (for example, deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, or higher transaction limits).

We may require users to provide some or all of the following information:

  • Full name

  • Date of birth

  • Residential address

  • Nationality and/or country of residence

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport, Aadhaar, PAN card, driving licence)

  • Proof of address (e.g., recent utility bill, bank statement)

  • Source of funds and/or source of wealth, where relevant

We may verify this information using:

  • Independent databases or third-party identity verification providers

  • Sanctions lists, watchlists and PEP screening tools

  • Additional documents or information requested from the user

If a user does not provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when requested, we may:

  • Restrict or block access to the Services

  • Freeze deposits, wagers or withdrawals

  • Suspend or close the account

5. Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Sanctioned Individuals

Forest Arrow screens users against sanctions lists, terrorist lists, and PEP databases where required.

We may:

  • Refuse to open an account for, or terminate an existing account of, any person who appears on applicable sanctions or terrorism lists.

  • Apply enhanced due diligence for users identified as PEPs or high-risk individuals, which may include additional checks, documentation, and ongoing monitoring.

6. Acceptable Payment Methods

To maintain AML standards, Forest Arrow may restrict or limit:

  • Accepted payment methods

  • Currencies

  • Deposit and withdrawal channels

We generally only support payment methods in the name of the account holder, and we may reject or investigate:

  • Payments from third-party accounts

  • Transfers made using anonymous or high-risk instruments

  • Transactions that appear to be layered or structured to evade thresholds

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse any transaction at our sole discretion

  • Request evidence of the source of funds

  • Reverse transactions where legally required

7. Monitoring of Transactions and Activity

Forest Arrow monitors user transactions and activity to detect unusual patterns or behaviors that may indicate money laundering or terrorist financing. Monitoring may include, but is not limited to:

  • Sudden or repeated large deposits and withdrawals without clear gaming activity

  • Rapid movement of funds in and out of the account (“in and out” transactions)

  • Use of multiple payment methods or accounts without clear justification

  • Attempts to circumvent limits, verification processes, or AML controls

  • Collusive or fraudulent gameplay, bonus abuse, or other irregular betting patterns

If we identify unusual or suspicious activity, we may:

  • Request additional information or documentation from the user

  • Delay or block a transaction (including withdrawals)

  • Suspend or close the user’s account

  • Report the activity to the relevant authorities, where required by law

8. Reporting Suspicious Activity

Forest Arrow is committed to cooperating with law enforcement, regulators, and other competent authorities, in accordance with applicable law.

Where required, we may:

  • File reports with the appropriate authorities regarding transactions or users that we reasonably suspect may be linked to money laundering, terrorist financing, or other criminal conduct.

  • Provide user and transaction information to authorities when lawfully requested.

We are not permitted to inform users if and when a report is filed, or if an investigation is underway (this is known as “tipping off” and is prohibited under AML/CTF laws).

9. Record-Keeping

To comply with AML/CTF obligations, Forest Arrow maintains records for at least the minimum period required by law, which may include:

  • User identification and KYC information

  • Transaction history (deposits, wagers, withdrawals, bonuses)

  • Communications or correspondence related to AML checks

  • Internal risk assessments and decisions

These records help us:

  • Demonstrate compliance with applicable laws

  • Assist authorities in investigating suspected unlawful activities

  • Improve our risk management and controls

10. Staff Training and Internal Controls

Forest Arrow ensures that relevant staff and contractors:

  • Receive ongoing AML/CTF training, including how to identify and escalate suspicious transactions.

  • Understand our AML Policy, internal procedures, and legal obligations.

  • Follow clear procedures for user onboarding, verification, monitoring, and reporting.

We may periodically review and update training materials, internal policies, and technical systems to reflect changes in law, guidance, and best practices.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

Forest Arrow handles all personal data and transaction information in accordance with:

  • Applicable data protection and privacy laws, and

  • Our Privacy Policy (available separately on the Site).

Information gathered for AML/CTF purposes will only be used for:

  • Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Risk management and fraud prevention

  • Cooperation with law enforcement and regulatory authorities as permitted or required by law

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect user information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

12. User Responsibilities

By using Forest Arrow, you agree that you will:

  • Provide true, accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at registration and on request.

  • Use only your own payment methods and accounts, and not act on behalf of any third party without our prior written consent.

  • Not use the platform in any way that may involve money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other illegal activity.

  • Inform us promptly if your details change or if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

If you suspect that any other user may be using Forest Arrow for unlawful purposes, you are encouraged to contact us using the details provided on the Site.

13. AML and Responsible Gaming

While this AML Policy focuses on financial crime prevention, Forest Arrow is also committed to responsible gaming. Where necessary, we may link AML monitoring with responsible gaming measures, such as:

  • Assessing affordability and source of funds

  • Applying limits or restrictions where we identify potential harm or risk

  • Cooperating with regulators or support organisations where appropriate

For more information, please refer to our Responsible Gaming Policy on the Site.

14. Changes to This AML Policy

Forest Arrow may update this AML Policy from time to time to:
